Following on from my Kim Kardashian get the look post, I've decided to do my next one on her sister Khloe as she looked equally beautiful at this event! Khloe tends to go for a more dark and vampy look in comparison to Kim, however I do absolutely love this look hence why I wanted to show you how to recreate it!
The thing that stands out to me most on this look is definitely the skin. Khloe looks like a bronzed goddess and this is so easy to achieve and looks great now we are finally heading towards the summer (woooo!!).
Mac Face and Body Foundation (£27.00)
Mac Pro Longwear Concealer (£15.50)
Khloe's skin looks flawless in these shots however her foundation doesn't in anyway look caked on. To achieve this I would suggest using Mac's Face and Body Foundation as you can build it in areas where you need more coverage however in other areas you can just use a light layer to even your skin tone. Next Khloe's makeup artist would've gone in and highlighted under her eyes, on her forehead and down her nose with a concealer which is lighter than her skin tone in order to accentuate her contour and brighten her face. You must be sure to set this however as it can sometimes crease under your eyes.
Soleil Tan de Chanel (£31.00)
Nars Laguna Bronzer (£26.00)
Like I said previously, Khloe's skin is beautifully sun kissed in this look. I'd first go in with my Expert face brush (see below) and cream bronzer and bronze my temples, cheeks, nose and neck - the places where you'd naturally catch the sun. After I'd make my cheekbones look even more defined and use my matte bronzing powder and small setting brush to really hollow them out, giving a really chiseled look.
Real Techniques Setting Brush (£8.99)
Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick (£5.49)
The Balm Mary Lou Luminzer (£16.00)
Khloe always rocks a very highlighted cheekbone which looks great with this look. She also has it through the bridge of her nose and on her cupids bow to make her lips look really full. The Balm Luminzer is very pigmented and therefore works perfectly for this - make sure to blend it well however to avoid any harsh lines. Then I'd go in with Rimmel's Kate Moss Matte lipstick, which I quite frankly swear by. It is better than any high end dark colour I've tired, has great pigmentation, staying power and smells amazing. I'd definitely recommend picking this up. I would suggest using a good lip balm first however as matte lipsticks are notoriously drying.
BaByliss Loose Waves Hair Tong (£19.99)
I love Khloe's soft waves in this look as it makes it look really classy and glamorous. I'd start my parting my hair and use a wide barrel curler to curl my hair away from my face. The curls don't have to be perfect as I think some different sizes look really natural. I'd then always set my hair with a good hairspray particularly if you were wearing this for longer periods of time.
Missguided Burgandy Dress (£7.99)
Unfortunately my budget doesn't quite stretch to Khloe's Marc Bouwer dress, however I have found a similar style from Missguided that I'd be more than happy to wear! Funnily enough it is the cheapest thing featured in the post as it is part of Missguided's Sweet Deals collection which is definitely worth checking out as they have a great range of basics. This would look great with gold jewellery and a tan as burgundy can quite often wash paler skin tones out. I'd definitely advise bronzing your neck and face if you are wearing a dress like this to ensure your face matches your body!
Hate to say I used mostly high end products in this post, however they were the right ones for the look I felt! Do you have any good drugstore dupes for any of these products? Let me know!
